Please note that this role will require you to travel nationally to engage with partners and clients.

Are you someone who can:

  • Identify and secure Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) relationships that can convert into development partnerships for FNB Energy Solutions (FES)

  • Negotiate and finalize Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with key stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain strong networks within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors

  • Drive deal-making processes from origination to closure, ensuring alignment with FES's strategic objectives

  • Deal with more complex transactions and structured repayment options

  • Increase product house footprint through targeting non-banked clients

  • Perform end-to-end process from deal origination to deal conclusion by evaluating and presenting applications for funding and structure deals that contribute towards customer and FirstRand objectives and growth

  • Identify opportunities and deliver on agreed sales targets to grow portfolio with deal size of R10-50mil and budget of R200m-R350m or with segmentation of medium to high complex clients

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a minimum of a BCom Degree in Engineering, Law, Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field (Postgraduate Degree advantageous)

  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in deal-origination and deal-making within financial services, energy or infrastructure sectors

  • Have good understanding of the respective product and ability to structure deals within that environment (energy solutions)

  • Have strong understanding of EPC frameworks and PPA structures

  • Are able to manage complex transactions and deliver results under pressure
