This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
We have one permanent position in the Kimberley region for immediate appointment.
This pool may be utiliesed to appoint to similiar positions in the Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions.

Eligibility to Apply:
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Other Conditions:
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Please note that adverse information does not necessarily disqualify an applicant but will be considered as part of the appointment process.

Please note this recruitment process requires completion of satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA). Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you are able to perform the inherent requirements of the position. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until
31/12/2026
.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile:
Responsible for the oversight and management of the procurement and contract management functions of the WACHS Kimberley region. Responsible for establishing the strategic direction and purpose of procurement and contract management functions for the WACHS Kimberley region. Responsible for the establishment and management of responsive, competent and effective contract management systems and processes within the WACHS Kimberley region. Responsible for ensuring procurement and contract management compliance across the WACHS Kimberley region.
