Afripet (Pty) Ltd, a leading pet food manufacturer based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, is looking for an exceptional Sales Representative to grow our brand and make a meaningful impact in the pet food industry

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to producing high-quality pet food. Based in Johannesburg (ideally between Randburg and Germiston), you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the success of a rapidly growing company.Key Responsibilities:

Expand Afripet's market footprint by growing sales within your assigned area/segment.

Develop and execute client-focused sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging the full support of the Afripet team.

Represent Afripet at trade shows, seminars, and events, showcasing our high-quality product lines.

Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers.

Collaborate with the marketing team to implement impactful promotional campaigns.

Maintain customer information and insights in our Amigo Extranet system for efficient management.

Assist with logistics and stock control issues when required. What We're Looking For:

Location: Must be based in Johannesburg (own vehicle and valid driver's license required).

Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales, preferably in the pet food, FMCG, or related industries.

Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pet food or broader pet industry will give you a significant advantage.

Skills:

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Education: Matric required. A marketing degree or diploma is a bonus
