A leading player in the energy industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Energy Project Manager to join their team. As an Energy Project Manager at our client, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing complex energy projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of the energy sector, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
    • Proactively address challenges and implement contingency plans to maintain project momentum.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring effective communication and resource utilisation.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Manage project budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
    • Work closely with finance and procurement teams to optimise resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders at regular intervals.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management within the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, grid systems, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
