Role Description

This is a full-time on-site
2-year role
(whether incumbent has completed 'Law School' or not) located in the Lansdowne area for a Candidate Attorney. The Candidate Attorney will assist in admin and front desk duties, the preparation and drafting of legal documents, conduct legal research, provide legal advice under guidance, support in litigation or dispute resolution processes, and attend court sessions and client consultations. This role involves extensive communication and collaboration within the legal team and with clients. Incumbent will be responsible for opening up and closing the office in the mornings and afternoons.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Law, with a strong foundation in civil procedure.
  • Capability to provide Legal Advice and conduct in-depth Research
  • Strong Negotiation skills and the ability to assist in dispute resolutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • LLB degree (required) with eligibility for admission as a Candidate Attorney
  • Attention to detail and commitment to professional ethics
