This is not a traditional travel agent role.

Travel Creators is a travel tech startup operating in South Africa and internationally, servicing clients and creators across Europe, the UK and Australia. We have already built the foundations and are now focused on growing the business through creators, curated itineraries and technology.

We are apart of a wider global startup ecosystem, giving this role exposure far beyond a typical travel agency position.

We are looking for a travel consultant who wants to grow with the business, take ownership and play a meaningful role in shaping how the travel side scales.

The Opportunity

You will work directly with the Founder of Travel Creators and alongside a growing network of Creators and Influencers, supporting them in
monetising their travel content
through curated trips, group experiences and personalised itineraries.

This role sits at the intersection of
travel, creators and technology
. You will help turn inspiration into bookings, working with both creator led travel products and direct Travel Creators clients across South Africa, Europe, the UK and Australia.

You will work closely with the Founder and be close to decision making, innovation and the day-to-day growth of the business. You will not just follow processes. You will help grow and refine them. Your ideas will be heard, tested and implemented.

This is a rare opportunity to gain hands on experience in a travel tech startup and play a key role in growing and expanding this model for selling travel.

The Role

This is a full time role for a Travel Consultant Growth Role, based in Cape Town with flexibility to work remotely. You will provide expert travel consulting services, manage end to end travel bookings, and create seamless, personalised travel plans for both creator led trips and direct Travel Creators clients.

You will be responsible for handling reservations, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire journey. You will also be handed a portfolio of existing clients and live enquiries, alongside developing new business working with Creators/Influencers.

This role is hands on, fast paced and central to the growth of the travel business.

What You Will Be Doing

Managing the full customer journey from first enquiry through to booking, travel and post trip follow up.

Designing and selling international holidays including multi day itineraries and group travel.

Working with Creators and Influencers to support them in selling their own trips and experiences.

Managing direct Travel Creators clients alongside creator led travel products.

Handling enquiries across South Africa, Europe, the UK and Australia.

Liaising with international suppliers, DMCs and partners.

Following up leads and closing sales consistently.

Growing repeat bookings and referrals through strong client relationships.

Bringing ideas to grow the both creators/influencers and direct client.

Using tech tools to increase productivity, automation and efficiency.

Helping grow and refine systems, workflows and processes as the business scales.

What We Are Looking For

Experience as a travel agent or travel consultant.

Experience with multi day trips, group travel and international holidays.

A small to medium existing client base to support early growth.

Strong sales mindset with comfort around targets, KPIs and commission.

Interest in technology and using new tools to work smarter and more efficiently.

A good understanding of tech platforms, booking systems or CRMs, or the willingness to learn quickly.

Confidence working with creators, influencers and direct clients.

Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Excitement about startups, innovation and growing a business.

Compensation and Growth

This role includes a base salary plus commission and is performance driven. The guaranteed salary will not be high, but there is meaningful upside for someone who performs and grows with the business.

There is long term growth potential and the possibility of equity or shares in the future for the right person who commits to the journey and contributes to the growth of the business.
