Introduction

We are seeking an Account Manager / Brand Ambassador / Sales Representative to drive sales growth, strengthen brand presence, and maintain strong relationships with clients and retail partners within the FMCG sector. The role combines account management, brand advocacy, and direct sales responsibilities to ensure consistent market penetration and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement account plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
  • Provide exceptional trade feedback to Management
  • Ensure that all Company Owned branded products are checked and audited on a monthly basis

Brand Ambassador Duties:

  • Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and in-store activations.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all touchpoints.
  • Educate retailers and customers about product features and benefits.
  • Ensure professionalism, excellent communication and proactive interactions with customers

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FMCG market.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Visit customers daily per call cycle.
  • Call on a minimum of 15 outlets per day, 75 per week, 300 per month.
  • Support Sales efforts through in store branding, effective merchandising and scheduling of sampling activations.

Market Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product development teams.
Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in FMCG sales, account management, or brand representation.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels and retail environments.
  • Retail sales experience (FMCG)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong social media presence and familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Passion for the brand and its mission
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in marketing, sales, or customer service is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Must have own transport

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license, own vehicle and willingness to travel.

  • Salary:  R12 000 p/m
