The Opportunity:
Our client, a leading South African retail group with a wide footprint across multiple brands and categories, is looking for a Management Accountant who brings analytical strength, commercial awareness, and the ability to shape financial understanding across the organisation. In this role, you'll act as the financial navigator behind planning, forecasting, and performance reporting — ensuring that leaders have the insight they need to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly management reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Completeness and accuracy of the general ledger
  • Year-end close and audits
  • Provide support to the Financial Manager
 
What You Bring:
  • BCom Degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a management accounting role
  • Advantageous: BCom Honours / CIMA
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • A disciplined, deadline-driven working style with high personal accountability
