Your Mission

Your mission will be to use your experience in all stages of the sales cycle to steer us towards becoming the preferred supplier of diagnostic proteins for rapid diagnostic test kit manufacturers in Africa and LMIC's. You will use your technical knowledge in recombinant proteins and expression platforms, as well as the Veterinary Diagnostics market, to contribute towards developing and implement an ever-evolving growth strategy that results in measurable progress towards achieving our purpose.

Requirements

  • Early-mid career sales professional (5-10 years of experience) that is looking for growth and autonomy.
  • Technical knowledge of recombinant proteins and protein expression platforms. Knowledge of Rapid Diagnostic Test Kit formulation is highly beneficial.
  • Market knowledge of Diagnostics in Africa and LMICs, specifically Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits for the Veterinary Market.
  • Experience in successfully moving sales opportunities from prospecting through to closure.
  • Experience in managing existing accounts and applying switching/upselling tactics to expand opportunities within existing customers.
  • Has worked in cross-functional teams (marketing, quality, R&D, production, etc) to deliver products that exceed customer expectations.

Key Performance Areas

  • Customer Acquisition (50%): Walks new business opportunities through our Sales Pipeline, from Research through to Closed Customer. Uses an array of channels and tactics to increase our revenue sustainably.
  • Feedback & Innovation (25%): Provides insights and feedback from direct interactions with and research on our market that contribute towards the iterations of our growth strategy.
  • Customer Retention & Growth (10%): Responsible for keeping our current customers delighted with our products and the experience they receive. Pursues emergent upselling opportunities that provide customers with extra value.
  • Reporting (5%): Maintains transparent, consistent, and effective information flow with the Board, the Management Team, and throughout the Company as a whole. Supports Cape Bio Pharms to make effective decisions through qualitative and quantitative reports.
  • Marketing Coordination (5%): Coordinates with marketing agencies to maximize our most productive marketing channels to build our Commercial Reputation and drive new business opportunities into our Sales Pipeline.
  • Networking (5%): Represents the company in the public domain, cultivating our community through authentic and professional relationship building. Creates momentum towards the achievement of our vision.
