Working Hours: 08:00 -16:30, Monday to Friday

Are you a technically minded, open-minded professional with a passion for hands-on work and customer service? We're looking for Field Service Sales Technicians to join our growing team in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for on-site service and sales of vacuum pumps and blowers. You combine technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to provide solutions, strengthen client relationships, and identify new sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and courteous communication with customers (verbal & email).
  • Visit existing and potential clients to build and grow business relationships.
  • Proactively identify new sales leads through cold calling and outreach.
  • Drive sales for new pumps, spare parts, and system upgrades.
  • Grow the field service portfolio by securing service contracts and managing follow-ups.
  • Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of vacuum pumps and systems.
  • Generate service and repair sales for both workshop and on-site work.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Submit weekly and monthly activity and sales reports.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders such as Technicians, Engineers, Maintenance Managers, and Contractors.
  • Provide valuable market and customer feedback to management.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Afrikaans preferred (many clients operate in Afrikaans).
  • Strong technical and hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional presence with the ability to develop lasting client relationships.
  • Team player who can also work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel within Africa as needed.
