Afrirent Holdings is looking for a Temp Recruitment Specialist who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts, selects, and retains top talent. This role involves workforce planning, developing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating the onboarding process to meet current and future staffing needs.

Duties and Responsibilties

Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including job portals, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Conduct proactive headhunting for specialized positions.

Recruitment Process Management

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to onboarding.
  • Draft and post job advertisements internally and externally.
  • Screen applications, shortlist suitable candidates, and conduct initial interviews.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and panels.
  • Ensure timely feedback and communication to candidates throughout the process.
  • Conduct background checks, reference verification, and qualification validation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with line managers to identify staffing needs and define job profiles.
  • Provide expert advice to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, job market trends, and salary benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with HR and departmental heads to ensure workforce planning aligns with organizational goals.

Employer Branding

  • Support the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, graduate programmes, and other recruitment events.
  • Promote a positive candidate experience that reflects the organization's values and culture.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with labour laws, employment equity, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and candidate data.
  • Prepare and submit regular recruitment metrics and reports (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, diversity ratios).

Onboarding & Retention Support

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Training teams on induction and retention initiatives.

Education

  • Diploma in HR, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and specialized talent acquisition

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
