Project Manager - Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects across Hitachi storage solutions and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Plan, monitor, and deliver IaaS, BaaS, and DRaaS implementations.
  • Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper change management, governance, and compliance throughout project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular status updates to executives and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years proven experience as a Project Manager in IT/Infrastructure/Cloud.
  • Hands-on project delivery in Hitachi Vantara solutions (storage, backup, recovery).
  • Strong exposure to Microsoft Azure projects (migration, backup/DR, infrastructure setup).
  • Familiarity with IaaS, BaaS, and DRaaS delivery models.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management experience.
  • Relevant certifications preferred:
    • PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-certified.
    • Agile/Scrum certification.
    • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher.
    • Hitachi project-related training/certifications advantageous.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
