The Role
 

Reporting to the Vice President Group Compliance, the successful candidate will lead the management and investigation of whistleblowing cases, ensuring timely resolution, strong governance, and alignment with the companies compliance framework and values.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and reconcile whistleblowing cases, ensuring accurate reporting and closure tracking.
  • Conduct sensitive investigations and ensure confidentiality and anonymity are upheld.
  • Prepare management, Audit Committee, and Board reports on whistleblowing activities.
  • Maintain and audit the whistleblowing case database and registers.
  • Facilitate awareness, training, and compliance reviews across regional operations.
  • Partner with business units and external vendors to ensure effective case management.
  • Support departmental initiatives and continuous improvement in governance controls.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Law, Accounting, or Compliance).
  • Proven experience in whistleblowing management, investigations, or compliance auditing.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of governance, risk, and ethics principles.
  • Experience in the mining industry an advantage.
