Job Description:Group Account Manager - Johannesburg, South AfricaOwn strategic customer relationship to boost profitable category growth with Customers, in line with our ambitions by Negotiating Joint Business Plans, leveraging all relevant customer stakeholders and internal processes. Getting these Plans executed effectively through the customer and operations teams. Delivering growth for Mars and target business shape in line with the growth agenda. Management and Development of the team.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing or similar A minimum of 10 years' experience as National Key Account Manager in FMCG or related rolesCommercial acumenShoprite account management experience will be advantageousProven negotiation and selling skillsAdvanced communication skillsConflict management experienceProven track record in managing a teamA minimum of 3-5 years' experience in managing a direct teamWhat will be your key responsibilities?Be category partner of choice with the customersOwn customer plans/Joint Business plans with account to boost category growth, sales, customer market shares and marginOwn the customer P&L to deliver on target business shape Responsible for the annual trading terms of all customers in scopeOwn category and brand execution in-store at account in the context of Perfect Store byDelivering the right assortment and NPD meeting target WD levels Develop a tailored promo/support plan in line with the segment requirements Creating great visibility on shelf, and off shelf (e.g. POI) --> customer/channel specificOwn Customer volume forecast accuracy (baseline, NPD and promo) other channels: identifying new business opportunities Lead, coach and develop a team of Customer Development ManagersThrough sales analysis provide the business with data insights and analytics required to run their business.Drive compliance to Mars QMP (Quality Management Processes) standardsWhat can you expect from Mars?Work with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
