Overview

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Group Reporting Accountant to join our finance team. This is a key role responsible for preparing statutory accounts, managing group consolidations, leading audits, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial statements (AFS) in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
  • Lead group consolidations and resolve intercompany eliminations
  • Manage audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
  • Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews
  • Oversee VAT reviews, submissions, and compliance
  • Review and sign-off financial outputs from team members
  • Support policy implementation and new jurisdiction accounting setup

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualifications: Fully qualified CA(SA), ACCA, or equivalent
  • Experience: 4–6 years total, with 2+ years post-articles in reporting, consolidation, or audit
  • Skills: Strong IFRS and statutory reporting knowledge, AFS preparation, audit liaison
  • Systems: Advanced Excel, consolidation software experience preferred
  • Bonus: Experience with cross-border reporting or multinational structures

SALARY IS MARKET RELATED AND COMMENSURATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: R45 000,00 - R65 000,00 per month
