Position Details : Personal Assistant
Organisation :Imam Development Program (Mercy Mission South Africa) Location Durban, South Africa
Fixed-Term Contract: Reports To CEO

A Personal Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to the CEO to help manage their professional and personal responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks
● Calendar and Schedule Management: Proactively manage complex diaries, schedule meetings, appointments, and events, and send reminders of important tasks and deadlines.
● Communication Hub: Act as the first point of contact, screening phone calls, emails, and correspondence, and responding or directing them appropriately on behalf of the CEO.
● Travel Coordination: Plan and arrange extensive domestic and international travel, including booking flights, hotels, transportation, and creating detailed itineraries.
● Administrative Support: Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence; maintain databases and filing systems; take notes/minutes during meetings; and manage expense reports and invoicing.
● Personal/Lifestyle Support : Run errands, plan personal events, and manage personal finances or appointments. Skills and Knowledge Required
● Exceptional Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize a heavy workload, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
● Discretion and Confidentiality: Handling sensitive personal and business information with the utmost professionalism is essential.
● Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise confidently with all levels of stakeholders.
● Tech Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, scheduling tools) Education and Experience
● A bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration or any related field.
● Must be computer literate.
● Must be flexible and able to travel if needed.
