Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Musical Director in all aspects of the musical production onboard, including rehearsals, performances, and maintenance of musical equipment

- Collaborate with the cast, musicians, and technical crew to ensure high-quality performances

- Conduct rehearsals in the absence of the Musical Director

- Provide musical support for special events and activities onboard a cruise ship

- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all crew members

- Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations

- Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of new musicians

- Assist with scheduling and coordination of performances and rehearsals

- Help to maintain and update musical arrangements and scores

- Assist with the preparation and execution of musical events and shows

- Handle any technical issues or emergencies that may arise during performances

- Participate in crew meetings and trainings as required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in music, musical theater, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or live performance setting

- Strong musical skills and knowledge of a variety of musical styles

- Proficiency in conducting and leading rehearsals

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus

- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
