is an international fintech group operating micro-lending businesses across Mexico, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and the EU market. We are currently launching and scaling a new project in South Africa, and are looking for a strong on-the-ground operational profile based in Cape Town who is ready to grow with the business.

This role requires physical presence in Cape Town and hands-on work with local counterparts.

Role Format

Initially, this is an
Operations Assistant / Operations Support
role with deep involvement in day-to-day operations.

In the mid-term, the role is expected to grow into
Operations Manager
, and further into
Operations Director
for the region.

This is a role for someone who wants to
build and grow
, not just execute predefined tasks.

Responsibilities (initial phase)

  • Operational support for launching the business in
    Cape Town / South Africa
  • Coordination with local service providers, vendors, and consultants
  • Support of company setup, licensing, and regulatory processes
  • Tracking operational tasks, documents, timelines, and deliverables
  • Assisting in building internal operational processes and structure
  • Acting as a coordination point between the local team and the international head office

Responsibilities (with growth)

  • Ownership of daily operations of the business in South Africa
  • Process optimization and cost efficiency
  • Managing and scaling the local team
  • Participation in strategic operational decisions
  • Full operational responsibility for the country

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Based in
    Cape Town
    (or able to work permanently from Cape Town)
  • Background in operations, administration, project coordination, or operations support
  • Experience in fintech, micro-lending, financial services, or other regulated industries is a strong plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Clear ambition to grow into a
    senior operational leadership role
  • Strong working proficiency in
    English
