We're Hiring: Business Development Manager (IT)

We are an established and growing IT company looking for a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager with 5+ years' experience to support our growth strategy and expand our client base. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong sales mindset who thrives in a technology-driven environment. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and working closely with internal technical teams to deliver value-focused IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the IT sector
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop and execute business development and sales strategies aligned to company objectives
  • Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and pricing models to prospective clients
  • Collaborate closely with delivery, technical, and project teams to ensure smooth handover and successful execution
  • Track sales pipelines, leads, and opportunities using Jira
  • Maintain accurate documentation, proposals, and client information using Confluence
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs to inform business strategy
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed revenue and growth targets

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Development Manager or similar role
  • Proven experience within an IT or technology-driven environment
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development, or technology solutions
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
