Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area for a Construction / Contracts Manager. The Construction / Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution. Daily tasks include managing contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, scheduling, budgeting, and liaising with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and government officials. The role also requires ensuring project timelines and milestones are met, as well as implementing safety and quality control measures.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management, scheduling, and budgeting skills
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and legal compliance
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or similar are a plus
