Job Description
My client (FMCG) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Organisational Effectiveness Coordinator (HR), based in the Gauteng area.
Job Purpose:
To co-ordinate, implement and maintain talent management activities towards ensuring that the organisation is effective, sustainable and compliant to regulatory statutes, in line with the organisational effectiveness and transformation strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning & Development Planning & Funding
Consolidate mandatory and discretionary grant applications and upload them on SETA platformsFormulate an annual business training calendar in line with approved workplace skills plansApprenticeships/Learnerships/Internships/Candidacy and Skills Programmes Implementation & Administration
Facilitate compilation of training and development plans for learners and learners' inductionConsolidate learner agreement packs and/or skills programme enrolment packs for use during learner registration with the SETAsArrange learner progress assessments and track completion of formative and summative assessments Determine competency levels of relevant learners and arrange competence-based stipend adjustmentsIn-house, External Training and Bursaries Processing and Administration
Conduct logistical arrangements for training sessions on site and oversee implementationCollect certificates of competence/attendance and completed attendance registers on completion of trainingGuide employees on how to access various learning and development activities and process external training requests and bursary applicationsProcess payments for all approved training programmesFacilitate training sessions on organisational effectiveness activities for purposes of orientating stakeholders/users and inducting new employeesLearning & Development Database Maintenance and Reporting
Keep accurate, complete and up to date records of information and documentation related to all learning and development activitiesMaintain an efficient and updated filing system to ensure accessibility of information by relevant stakeholdersCompile customized reports on learning and development programmes, in line with specifications of multiple and diverse stakeholdersConsolidate annual training reports, supporting documentation and upload on SETA platform/sPerformance Management
Prompt various stakeholders to complete performance documents on various stages of the performance management cycle, and ensure correct completion, and filing thereofConsolidate annual performance data and spreadsheets for use during calibration sessions and arrange relevant annual eventsRewards & Recognition Coordination
Consolidate nominations, quality them and prepare spreadsheets for use during evaluationProcure certificates, trophy engravings, and gifts (monetary and non-monetary) for award winners, and distribute where applicableArrange annual awards ceremoniesEmployment Equity (EE) & Skills Development (SD) Committee Coordination
Compile monthly employment equity and skills development statisticsChampion projects related to EE and SD qualitative objectivesCompile minutes for EE & SD Committee meetingsCoordinate nomination, voting and appointment processes of Committee MembersSocio Economic Development
Receive and quality check applications for socio economic development interventionsFacilitate completion of contractual agreements and process paymentsQUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES:
Qualifications
Diploma in Human Resource Development / Human Resource Management or related field (NQF 6/10)Certificate in Skills Development Facilitator training will be an added advantageExperience
3 years' experience co-ordinating Learning & Development activities in a manufacturing environmentWorking experience with compilation and submission of mandatory and discretionary grant applications to SETAsWorking experience with SAP and advanced MS ExcelKnowledge
Knowledge of the Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act; Skills Development Levies Act and BBBEE ActUnderstanding of the human resource management value chainSkills
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft OfficeTraining coordinationProject executionEvent ManagementTraining, coaching & presentation skillsAdministrationMinute taking and reportingWritten and verbal communication skillsLogical reasoning and problem solvingInterpersonal skillsStakeholder engagementPlanning & organisingCollaborationOn Offer:
