Rayton / Pretoria Area – Gauteng: The Packhouse assistant will help drive process, efficiency, output and client satisfaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric Certificate.
• Able to speak and understand Afrikaans and English. Other African native languages will be beneficial.
• Code 8 driver's licence.
• Valid RSA ID.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Email).

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Management of staff to prepare customer orders to the highest standards.
• Development of standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
• Implementation and enforcement of existing standard operating procedures.
• Recording of packhouse data for decision making.
• Planning and organising of drivers and trucks for deliveries.
• Communication with clients regarding orders.
• Training of packhouse employees to improve process and systems.
• Management of harvesting teams to bring crops to packhouse for orders.
• Stock management of fresh produce and consumables.
• Global GAP Record Keeping.
