Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a dedicated Manager at a Dry Cleaner located in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the dry cleaning facility.

  • Supervise and train staff to maintain high service and operational standards.

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

  • Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll.

  • Support marketing efforts to attract new customers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

-Experience in management, staff supervision, and training

  • Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the dry cleaning or laundry industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, point-of-sale systems).

  • Knowledge of dry-cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
