Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Mentorship Lead. In this role, the Mentorship Lead will design and oversee mentorship programs that connect women with opportunities for growth and development. Key tasks will include identifying program goals, recruiting and matching mentors and mentees, monitoring program outcomes, and providing support to ensure successful mentorship relationships. The Mentorship Lead will also foster a sense of community while promoting alignment with the organization's mission to empower African women.

Qualifications

  • Program Design and Management skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Effective Communication, Relationship Building, and Networking skills to engage mentors, mentees, and stakeholders
  • Leadership, Team Coordination, and the ability to inspire and motivate participants
  • Problem-solving and Analytical skills to assess program success and address challenges
  • A passion for women's empowerment and understanding of African cultural dynamics
  • Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and digital platforms
  • Prior experience in mentorship programs or community-driven initiatives is a plus
