The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
The Visual Merchandiser plays a key role in bringing Le Creuset brand identity to life across our retail environment. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent, compelling, and on-brand visual merchandising that supports marketing campaigns and enhances the in-store customer experience.

This role is based at our Distribution Centre in Johannesburg, however, does involve frequent nationwide travel and requires the successful candidate to hold a valid driver's license.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities

• Translate creative briefs and marketing objectives into compelling VM concepts.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of VM across all store locations. Coordinate logistics, timelines, and communication to ensure timely and uniform implementation of displays, signage, and collateral.
• Monitor and support Area Managers and Store Managers in mapping the presentation of VM and responding to it.
• Provide training, resources, and support to store teams to elevate execution standards and maintain brand consistency.
• Champion merchandising best practices and proactively stay ahead of new merchandising trends.
• Maintain strong product knowledge regarding merchandise to ensure VM runs correctly and communicate with customers for more effective sales.
• Carry out from time to time and as directed, tasks in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.

The Perfect Blend
What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of visual composition principles (balance, contrast, colour theory) and styling techniques
• Strong understanding of Retail and Consumer Behaviour (e.g., how visual cues drive impulse buying)
• Ability to translate creative briefs into actionable visual concepts; presenting ideas clearly to leadership, marketing, and store teams.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or brand marketing.
• Experience in a luxury retail brand environment (especially homeware / kitchenware) an advantage
• Valid driver's license
• Willing to travel frequently and be flexible with regards to working on weekends or public holidays as required
