Company Description

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd generates, transports, and distributes about 95% of South Africa's electricity, covering 60% of the total electricity consumed on the African continent. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Managers located in Johannesburg. The Information Technology Managers will oversee the Group Technolgy departmental functions , ensuring the smooth operation of IT / OT services, infrastructure, and systems. Key responsibilities include managing IT /OT staff, developing IT /OT policies and best practices, ensuring IT /OT security and compliance standards, and coordinating IT /OT projects. The IT /OT Managers will collaborate with all departments / divisions to identify and fulfill their technology needs, priorities and delivery timelines .Group Technology serves the entire Eskom Holdings with complex state of the art technology solutions and services 24 by 7 by 365 days per annum .

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of IT /OT operations, systems, and infrastructure management
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT /OT policies and procedures and frameworks
  • Proficiency in network and data security best practices
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, and CISSP
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the energy or utilities sector is a plus
