We're hiring - Information Business Technology Manager
to lead our national IT function and drive technology-enabled transformation across our operations.

This senior leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment and wants to build a high-performing technology function that supports world-class service delivery.

About the role:

As the Information Business Technology Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing AfriBridge's IT strategy, ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with best practices across the professional services and outsourcing sector. You will oversee national IT operations, infrastructure, projects, budgets, vendors, risk management, and a technical team while working closely with AfriBridge leadership, client partners, and global technology stakeholders.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and client stakeholders to understand needs and identify technology improvement opportunities.
  • Transform the IT division into a solution-driven, service-focused team.
  • Represent AfriBridge on all national IT matters and participate in strategic forums as required.

Operations oversight

  • Lead all South Africa–based technology support, infrastructure, and project execution.
  • Oversee vendor management, service escalation processes, information governance, and third-party risk.
  • Drive efficiency through change management, training, and adoption of collaboration tools.
  • Manage IT budgeting and ensure predictable, cost-effective operations.

Strategy, Transformation and Innovation

  • Develop and implement the AfriBridge IT strategy with a focus on scalability, security, and operational excellence.
  • Deliver technology-enabled projects that improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Keep leadership informed of emerging technologies and digital transformation opportunities.

Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience at, or nearing, a national business technology level.
  • Experience in a professional services, outsourcing, or international business environment of meaningful scale.
  • Legal industry experience is highly desirable, given the nature of several AfriBridge client portfolios.
  • Working knowledge of the 3E billing and timekeeping system (or similar legal practice management systems) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client delivery.
