Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate
- Trade Tested Millwright, Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter, Welder or Similiar
- 5 years of supervision experience in steam generators, specialized coded welding, reticulation systems, and thermal processing equipment in an industrial environment.
- Exellent planning & Management skills
- Read and understand technical drawings
- Knowledge and understanding of steam generators and thermal processing equipment
- Solid Knowledge of ISO standards (quality, safety, and environmental).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of quality control and assurance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate NDT and Third-Party inspection and testing.
- Schedule, coordinate, and plan work activities with other departments, subcontractors, and supervisors to meet project objectives.
- Monitor and maintain standards of work in accordance with the applicable code of construction, standard operating procedures and South African National Standards.
- Monitor and control project costs regularly to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Communicate with customers at all levels to report project progress, determine requirements, and control predefined scope.
- Monitor and ensure all tools and equipment conform to minimum safety standards and requirements for safe operation.
- Coordinate, manage, and control all activities, projects, and processes within the boundaries and in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Compile and submit safety, process, construction, and project reports as and when needed.
- Be available to work during shutdowns, respond to call-outs, work overtime, and be willing to work
