Role Description

Quoin Rock is searching for an exceptionally talented and driven
Senior Sous Chef
to join our acclaimed culinary team. If you have a passion for food, creativity and leadership, this could be your next step

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience & Qualifications:
  • Culinary diploma or professional chef training.
  • Experience working in high-volume or fine dining environments.
  • 3–5+ years of kitchen experience, including time as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
  • Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe, or local equivalent).
  • A strong understanding of kitchen operations and cost control.
  • Key Skills:
  • Advanced cooking skills across multiple stations (grill, sauce, pastry, etc.).
  • Proven ability in menu planning, development, and recipe creation.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Leadership presence and the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, ordering, and waste reduction.

Your Impact (Key Responsibilities):

You will be integral to maintaining our high standards, including:

  • Leading the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen
  • Ensuring food quality, taste consistency, and presentation.
  • Overseeing inventory control, ordering, and managing costing.
  • Enforcing strict food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Supporting scheduling and staff onboarding.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
