A barista's main tasks include preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as providing excellent customer service by taking orders, handling payments, and answering questions. Key responsibilities also involve maintaining a clean and organized work area, managing inventory, and ensuring all equipment is clean and functional.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Fluent in English
  • Matric certificate
  • Barista experience and/or certificate
  • 6:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Half day on Saturdays
  • Starting date 26 January 2026

Beverage preparation

  • Prepare hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, and teas.
  • Operate and maintain coffee equipment like espresso machines and grinders.
  • Follow recipes and quality standards for drinks.
  • Occasionally prepare food items, such as sandwiches or pastries.

Pay: R6 500,00 - R7 000,00 per month
