We're looking for a hands-on Sustainability Specialist who can turn sustainability goals into measurable results and help build smarter, cleaner, and more circular packaging solutions.

The packaging industry is undergoing rapid transformation. International regulations demand greater transparency, traceability, and responsible material use throughout the supply chain. At the same time, our customers increasingly expect insight into our performance and expert guidance on sustainability.

Our ambition is to stay ahead of the curve in sustainable packaging solutions. In our roadmap we set clear goals: introducing traceable recycled content in our packaging, achieving measurable ESG performance, and communicating our sustainability progress clearly to customers.

Your responsibilities as Sustainability Specialist

As our Sustainability Specialist, you will work closely with the Head of Sustainability. You'll be the driving force behind our sustainability journey – connecting strategy, data, and people to make real progress.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support our sustainability roadmap and help further develop and implement it
  • Assist customers and colleagues with their sustainability-related questions and challenges
  • Bring ESG to life together with Marketing through interactive client communication and content
  • Help design and deliver internal sustainability training sessions
  • Collect and translate data into practical advice, including through our Life Cycle Analysis tool
  • Keep track of new legislation and trends, and advise on opportunities for improvement
  • Provide support during audits and certifications such as ISO 14001 and ESG assessments

Your profile

  • 3-4 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility projects
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills in English (skills in Dutch are an advantage but not required)
  • Practical, proactive, switched-on, and collaborative approach to work
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in processing and reporting data
  • Familiarity with ESG standards CSRD, ISO 14001 and PPWR is an advantage
