We are looking to appoint a commercially astute and strategically driven Partner Alliance Manager to lead and grow strategic vendor relationships as independent business units. This role is responsible for maximizing the value of our vendor ecosystem through strategic planning, program execution, and financial optimization. You will act as the business owner for your vendor portfolio, driving revenue, profitability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Strategy & Business Ownership:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for each vendor.
  • Own the P&L for assigned vendor portfolios, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact vendor partnerships aligned with business goals.

Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement:

  • Build and execute joint GTM strategies with vendors and internal teams.
  • Drive enablement programs to support sales and technical readiness.
  • Track pipeline performance and influence sales execution.

Partner Programmes, Rebates & Incentives:

  • Deeply understand vendor partner programmes, tiers, and incentive structures.
  • Ensure full leverage of available rebates, back-end incentives, and MDF (Market Development Funds).
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to track, claim, and optimize rebate earnings.
  • Proactively manage program compliance to maintain or elevate partner status.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through programmatic levers and vendor-funded initiatives.

Rebate Optimization Metrics:

  • Rebate Realization Rate: % of eligible rebates successfully claimed vs. total available.
  • Rebate Contribution to Margin: % of total gross margin attributed to rebates and incentives.
  • Program Tier Advancement: Progression across vendor partner tiers (e.g., Silver → Gold → Platinum).
  • MDF Utilization Rate: % of allocated MDF used vs. available.
  • Rebate Forecast Accuracy: Variance between forecasted and actual rebate earnings.
  • Compliance Score: % adherence to vendor program requirements (certifications, reporting, etc.).

Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the executive liaison between the company and strategic vendors.
  • Lead QBRs, joint planning sessions, and executive alignment.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage escalations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee onboarding, certification, and compliance processes.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
  • Use data and analytics to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years in partner management, vendor alliances, or business development.
  • Experience managing Tier 1 vendors.
  • Strong understanding of vendor partner programs and financial incentives.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of enterprise IT, cloud, networking, or data center ecosystems.
  • Experience with MDF planning, rebate tracking, and program compliance.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
