A growing SME accounting firm in North Dublin is seeking to appoint an
Audit Senior Manager
to join its leadership team. The firm has recently entered an exciting new phase of growth, expanding its service offering and strengthening its cross-border capabilities to better support a diverse client base of Irish and international businesses.

The Role

As an
Audit Senior Manager
, you'll take a lead role in shaping and delivering high-quality audit services across a varied and growing client portfolio. Working closely with the Directors, you'll oversee multiple assignments, guide your team to success, and play a key role in developing client relationships and driving departmental growth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and fast-paced practice offering both autonomy and a clear progression pathway to Director level.

You will:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring the highest quality standards
  • Partner with Directors to review technical issues, identify risk areas, and provide commercially focused advice
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of audit seniors and trainees
  • Play a hands-on role in business development, client relationship management, and cross-service collaboration
  • Review and enhance audit processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance
  • Engage directly with a diverse client base — from ambitious owner-managed businesses to larger international groups

About You

You'll bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset. You'll also be passionate about developing people and delivering exceptional client service.

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience in audit
  • Experience at Manager or Senior Manager level within a practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Excellent communicator with a genuine interest in people and business
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable driving process improvement and innovation
