Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Representative based in Johannesburg. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing new customer relationships, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, presenting products and marketplace solutions, negotiating contracts, and staying informed about market trends and customer needs. The role involves regular collaboration with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the seamless operation of the marketplace.
Your role is to find and sign up clients, support them, and help grow orders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new leads within township markets
- Visit clients in-person to pitch our offerings
- Submit orders and client info to our team
- Provide ongoing support and relationship management
- Report daily or weekly portal
Requirements:
- Must be familiar with the township market
- Must be confident, self-driven and street-smart
- Previous sales or informal trade experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and hit targets
- Own transport a bonus
Work Location: Remote
