We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as Head Product Trade and Working Capital for South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the complete product management lifecycle, from planning and development to strategy execution, ensuring market-leading performance and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Trade and Working Capital product area for South Africa.
  • Develop and clearly articulate the vision and direction for the product, setting and communicating product priorities.
  • Build consensus across the organization, aligning stakeholders behind product plans and priorities.
  • Drive, develop, and implement strategic and tactical product direction.
  • Understand customer needs to develop and advance the customer proposition for various segments and product areas.
  • Own the product P&L and develop short- and medium-term product strategy across segments and sectors.
  • Leverage expert teams—research, sales, operations, helpdesk, marketing, legal, compliance, change, and technology—to ensure growth and satisfaction.
  • Ensure that processes, control requirements and risk management frameworks that have been designed for the area are understood by all members of the team.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of technical expertise and remain up to date with relevant sector/department knowledge and provide insights.

  • Over 10 years experience in Product Management in a corporate and investment bank
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Risk and Fraud management.
  • Commercial acumen with ownership of product P&L.
  • Passion for market growth and delivering superior customer value.

Education

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
