We're Hiring: Warehouse Assistant – Chemical Manufacturing Industry

Our client, a
reputable chemical manufacturing company
, is seeking a
detail-oriented and proactive Stores Controller / Stores Administrator
to join their team on a
6-month contract
. This on-site position is based at
South Gate Business Park, Amanzimtoti
, and plays a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and accurate stock management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receipts (stocked & non-stocked):
    All warehouses
  • Issues:
    R1, P1, and E2
  • Capture of all issues:
    All warehouses
  • Raising of requisitions as directed:
    P1/R1 and ad hoc
  • Counts (daily/weekly/monthly):
    P1/R1/E2 and as directed
  • Stock take capturing & variance resolution:
    E1/E2
  • Receiving:
    P1, R1, and non-stock
  • Stock level monitoring:
    As directed
  • Warehouse housekeeping:
    R1 and P1
  • Min/Max level monitoring:
    All warehouses
  • Stock code additions & amendments:
    All except E1
  • Other ad hoc stock-related duties


Requirements

  • Minimum
    Matric
    (qualification in
    Logistics
    or
    Supply Chain
    advantageous)
  • 2+ years' experience
    in stock or warehouse administration (preferably in a
    chemical or manufacturing
    environment)
  • Strong
    attention to detail
    and
    accuracy
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office
    and stock control systems
  • Excellent
    organizational
    and
    communication skills

Contract Duration:
6 Months


Salary:
R14,400 per month (gross)
