A vacancy currently exists for a Hand Additions Attendant

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

  • Ensuring correct manual additions added to feed as per formula and batch requirements
  • Reporting variances on scales to Control Room Operator immediately.
  • Reporting product quality problems and incorrect weights to Control Room Operator immediately.
  • Ensuring correct quantity of manual additions are available in accordance to production schedule per shift.
  • Adhering to all health and safety rules at all times.
  • Commit and comply to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, 20 Keys, AFMA code of conduct, and any other company management systems.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience in a production environment.
  • Be able to converse in either English or Afrikaans and have good verbal, written and numerical skills.
  • Attention to detail very important.
  • Be quality driven, responsible and diligent.
  • Apply the highest standard of ethics and conduct.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment and a willingness to learn.
  • Be prepared to work shifts and overtime on short notice.
