Manage the full sales process: pricing, contract negotiation, order placement, documentation, and delivery coordination. Monitor market trends and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with the procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery. Ensure all export documentation complies with international trade and phytosanitary regulations. Attend local and international trade shows, industry events, and client meetings. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's strategic growth in new and existing markets. Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to management. Stay updated on seasonal production volumes, packout figures, and market demand cycles. Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in the fresh produce export industry, preferably with pome fruit and citrus. Existing relationships with key export markets such as the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the UK are highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of South African fruit production cycles, packhouses, and export logistics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel both locally and internationally as needed. Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems; experience with export documentation systems is a plus. Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Spanish, Mandarin, or French) are beneficial. Valid driver’s license. Education: Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or International Trade preferred, but not essential with relevant experience.
