Position Overview
The Sales Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting and enabling the sales team to operate efficiently and effectively. This position is responsible for streamlining sales processes, implementing best practices, managing sales analytics, and ensuring that the sales organization runs smoothly. The Sales Operations Manager acts as a bridge between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to optimie business performance and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations of the sales team, ensuring processes and systems are optimized for efficiency.
· Develop, maintain, and analyse sales reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership and sales teams.
· Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting processes to ensure accurate sales projections and resource allocation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product, to align sales strategies and initiatives.
· Administer and optimize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other sales tools.
· Develop and implement sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Monitor sales performance metrics and recommend improvements to drive productivity and revenue growth.
· Lead and coordinate sales training programs to enhance team capabilities and product knowledge.
· Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
· Support sales compensation planning and administration.
Qualifications
· years of experience in sales operations, sales administration, or a similar role.
· Proven experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
· Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
