Are you passionate about the world of wine and eager to create memorable experiences for visitors? The Franschhoek Wine Tram, a leading tourism company located in the enchanting Franschhoek region, is seeking dynamic and service-oriented Wine Tour Hosts to join our team. Earn up to R30,000 per month. (Base rate + Tips)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and service to visitors, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience for each guest.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to engage with the public and diverse groups effectively.
  • Act as a proactive and engaged team member, contributing to the overall success of the Visitor Experience.
  • Undertake stewarding duties as directed, including ticket checking, directing visitors, and maintaining cleanliness in designated areas.
  • Ticket Office trained team members will additionally assist with ticket purchases, offer visitor guidance, and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Work weekends and public holidays as required to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Reside in the Franschhoek/Paarl Area and be willing to commute.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Hold a Matric Certificate.
  • Previous experience in the Tourism/Hospitality/Wine sector is essential.
  • Tourism Guide Qualification is advantageous.
  • WSET/PYDA advantageous
