My client, a well-established and reputable company, is seeking a Technical Internal / Counter Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has solid SYSPRO experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the recruiter overseeing this placement, I am looking for an individual who is confident working with technical products, can provide accurate advice to customers at the counter or via phone/email, and is comfortable managing quotations, orders, and stock queries through SYSPRO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist walk-in and telephonic customers with product selection and technical support

  • Prepare quotations, process orders, and manage customer requests using SYSPRO

  • Ensure accurate pricing, stock availability, and timely order fulfilment

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers

  • Handle counter sales, invoicing, and general sales administration

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Matric

  • Technical internal or counter sales experience within the industrial sector (essential)

  • Strong working knowledge of SYSPRO – able to process orders, quotes, and stock queries

  • Good understanding of industrial products, components, or equipment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • High attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

Package & Remuneration

R13 500 CTC to R15 000 CTC per month based on experience and qualifications
