Position: Rota Administrative Assistant Hours: Full -time (final schedule to be confirmed; likely 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm UK working Hours) Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail -oriented Administrative Assistant to support our day - to -day operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and possess a solid understanding of healthcare or secure settings (preferred but not essential). This role involves general administrative duties, coordination tasks, and compliance support to ensure smooth operational workflows. Key Responsibilities ● Provide general administrative support, including filing, document management, and handling correspondence. ● Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and assist with rota organisation. ● Support the on -call line and help coordinate responses where required. ● Use tools such as Excel, Word, Tanda, and internal systems to support daily operational processes. ● Assist with compliance -related tasks, ensuring documentation and procedures meet required standards. ● Contribute to the smooth running of day -to -day operations across the team. Essential Skills & Attributes ● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. ● Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. ● Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Preferred Experience ● Experience working in a healthcare environment or secure setting. ● Knowledge of compliance processes and documentation. ● Familiarity with rota systems, Tanda, or other scheduling tools.
