Building Supervisor Brackenfell, Cape Town

CTC: R R per annum

Start date: 1 November 2025

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Client Portfolio Manager

Role Purpose

Were seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Building Supervisor to manage daily building operations, rental collections, tenant relations, and maintenance activities.

Youll ensure the property remains clean, secure, and compliant while fostering a positive tenant environment and maintaining excellent service provider performance.

Key Responsibilities

Client Services Management

  • Facilitate unit viewings, assist with leasing, and reduce vacancies.
  • Distribute rental statements and enforce credit control procedures.
  • Manage tenant intake and exit processes, including snag lists and rule briefings.

Service Provider Oversight

  • Supervise cleaning, maintenance, garden, and security teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure service standards are met.

HR & Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and appraise on-site staff.
  • Drive performance and maintain high morale.

Maintenance & Security

  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Oversee cleanliness, security, and incident reporting.

Administration & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and liaise with head office.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.

Social Climate Management

  • Foster a respectful, supportive tenant environment.
  • Address behavioural or community issues proactively.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in building or facilities management (maintenance experience required).
  • Availability: Must be available for after-hours emergencies or incidents.

  • Based on-site in Brackenfell, Cape Town
  • Regular building inspections
  • Interaction with tenants, contractors, and service providers
