Job Description:

This role is available immediately & it is a full-time role.

Northern Suburbs, Cape Town

Start Date: Immediately

The Construction Site Supervisor will report to the Senior Project Manager.

If you have 2 years of recent experience in the building industry which has been gained while working for a recognized company (not self-employed or consulting), and are looking for an opportunity to make a real impact, please take a look at the below details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate new construction projects and facility upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural drawings and project specifications.
  • Supervise on-site contractors, ensuring quality and project timelines are met.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered to high standards, on time, and within scope.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of recent, verifiable experience in the building and construction industry with a recognized company.
  • Matric and Building / Construction certification will be a bonus
  • The ability to manage multiple projects independently under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans for effective team and client interaction.
  • Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
  • References from previous employers are essential.
