Minimum requirements
Skills, and characteristics (add if applicable)
Project Management and/or Design Coordination of water infrastructure projects.Engineering design and calculations of pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and associated infrastructure.Hydraulic modelling and analysis (including water hammer) using Bentley WaterGEMS.(Experience in WaterGEMS modelling is not a prerequisite; however, the candidate should have a thorough understanding of the basic hydraulic principles to effectively master the software and interpret the results.)
Co-ordinate and integrate the design with other engineering disciplines (i.e., structural, fire, mechanical and electrical) to produce accurate design deliverables.Development of 3D models, technical drawings and details, as well as extraction of associated quantities, utilising the appropriate modelling/drafting software.Interpretation and understanding of relevant project and technical specifications for appropriate referencing in design deliverables.Interpretation and understanding of relevant design guidelines for appropriate usage to deliver sound engineering designs.Produce other key deliverables on projects such as technical and project related reports, specifications and procurement documentation.Be a team player that is willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and across multiple geographies.We believe that a diverse workforce is key to our business success.
