Snr Supply Chain Manager: Logistics & Procurement | East Rand, Gauteng

Established FMCG company, manufacturing well-known brands, which is available in leading South African Retailers is looking to add a seasoned Supply Chain Leader to its existing, dynamic team.

This individual will take full ownership of the company's Logistics, Procurement, and overall Supply Chain operations, driving efficiency, innovation, and performance across all areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen interest in continuous improvement, and who is passionate about implementing new systems, streamlining processes, and delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enhance supply chain systems, processes, and procedures to drive efficiency.
  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
  • Lead procurement and supplier management, optimising cost, quality, and performance.
  • Monitor KPIs and budgets, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience at a senior management level in logistics and procurement within the FMCG industry - essential.
  • Proven track record with implementing and improving supply chain systems and processes.
  • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems.
