Our client is one of South Africa's leading suppliers of fasteners and hardware products to the retail market, with major distribution centers in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban. Their product offering exceeds 4,000 SKUs, catering to both trade and DIY customers.
As part of our continued national expansion, we are seeking a motivated and results-oriented External Sales Representatives to drive sales across the Northern Cape and Gauteng region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new commercial business opportunities.
- Conduct cold-calling and regular client visits to generate consistent sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features clearly.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record in external sales, ideally in the hardware, building supplies, or distribution sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- This position is open to all suitably qualified candidates. Candidates from non-EE groups are encouraged to apply.
