Job Summary

Citra is looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to develop and lead our marketing efforts on a global scale. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our brand recognition, drive qualified leads, and communicate the value of our patented sustainable technology to our target audiences. You will play a pivotal role in shaping Citra's market position across South Africa and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Implement, and own the overarching marketing and brand strategy for all target markets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the ideation, execution, and optimization of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to build the sales pipeline and accelerate brand growth.
  • Budget & ROI: Manage the marketing budget across our brand (e.g. CentralBlue), allocate resources effectively, and track performance to ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Digital Marketing Oversight: Oversee all digital marketing channels, including SEO + SEM, email marketing, social media, and advertising, to ensure a cohesive and powerful online presence.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and manage a thought leadership content strategy (including white papers, case studies, and industry reports) that establishes Citra as an expert in sustainable construction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of our international markets to identify key opportunities, and understand competitor strategies and customer needs.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to create impactful collateral and tools that support the sales process and drive conversions.
  • Performance & Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze campaign data, and deliver regular, insightful reports to senior leadership on marketing performance.
  • Project Management: Experience using project management tools like Jira and Float to manage projects and timeline. 
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external partners, including marketing agencies, freelancers, and other vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing management role, with a clear track record of developing and executing successful strategies.
  • Significant experience in digital marketing is essential; experience in the construction, property development, architecture, or sustainable technology sectors is a plus. 
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and advanced analytics.
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and reporting on marketing ROI.
  • Exceptional management, communication, and presentation skills.
