Role Description
As a full-time Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will include data modeling, implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and conducting data analysis to support business decision-making. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. This is an on-site role based in the City of Cape Town.
Qualifications
- BSc or B Com in Information Systems or IT/IS diploma (Highly Advantageous) or substantial experience in a Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence environment.
- 3 - 5+ years data warehousing and/or ETL environment
- Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
- Expertise in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and technologies
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Relevant experience in business intelligence and data analysis
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with retail and fashion industry data is advantageous
