Description
SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Grain Department in Swellendam. The suitable candidate is responsible for the daily activities related to Silo Maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurate completion of tasks as agreed by your direct Supervisor
  • Good quality of your work rendered while performing your specific duties
  • Good feedback received from your direct Supervisor about your overall service provided
  • Enforcing legal requirements regarding health and safety as delegated by your direct Supervisor
  • Safekeeping of SSK assets and tools, and the safe handling of SSK parts and materials 
  • Good relations with work colleagues, other SSK divisions, and SSK service providers
Requirements
  • At least a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Relevant experience and/or exposure in a similar environment
  • Good planning, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Be able to function well under pressure and in a pressured environment
  • Be willing to work at heights, and overtime, depending on the operational needs
  • Good physical condition with proof of good health and no dust allergies
